Butler Technologies Inc. is set to establish a new manufacturing facility, bolstered by a $500,000 grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). The announcement was made by Representative Marci Mustello.
"I am pleased to announce today that the city of Butler is the recipient of funding to be used toward the construction of a new manufacturing facility to expand screen printing, digital printing, and finishing assembly operations," said Mustello. "It is nice to see our community expand. This project will bring jobs to the area and help boost the economy."
The expansion will enable Butler Technologies Inc. to accommodate more equipment and staff necessary for future growth. The facility will feature areas for employees including restrooms, a breakroom, and a production area. It will be built on a concrete foundation with primary and secondary steel components and fully insulated for energy efficiency.
Lawmakers authorized funding for this project through the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act. RACP grants are administered by the Office of the Budget for projects that have regional or multi-jurisdictional impact and contribute significantly to employment levels or economic activity.
Representative Marci Mustello serves Pennsylvania's 11th Legislative District.
