Something to Taco-bout: Liquor transfer approved

Genbusiness001

Cranberry issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.

A new restaurant isn’t under wraps any longer.

Candado Tacos will take over an open space in the Streets of Cranberry, 20430 Route 19. In addition to hundreds of taco combinations, the new location will offer a full-service bar.

The Board of Supervisors on January 27 accepted public comment on the inter-municipal transfer of a liquor license to the location from a Seven Fields business. According to the resolution approved by the Board, the “family-style restaurant” must not generate more than 45% of its gross sales via alcohol.

Based in Columbus, Candado already operates locations in Downtown Pittsburgh, as well as in Lawrenceville and at South Hills Village. A new location in East Liberty is also planned in 2022.
