Butler County’s Rotary Clubs and the Butler Eagle are working to recognize the county’s first responders in the first-ever Hometown Heroes Awards. Twenty-seven 1st responders will be recognized for their outstanding contributions, efforts, and dedication. Each Rotary Clubs will select one police officer, one firefighter, and one emergency medical responder based on nominations submitted by the public to be honored at a monthly meeting at which they’ll receive a Hometown Heroes Medal.
