On Tuesday, March 11, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

The game took place at Bill Davis Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at Bart Kaufman Field against Indiana Hoosiers.
