On Tuesday, April 1, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

The game took place at Bill Davis Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Dedeaux Field against USC Trojans.
