On Friday, March 7, former Freeport Area Senior High School standout Sydney Selker’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Murray State Racers.

The game took place at Racer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Racers this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at Racer Softball Field against Murray State Racers.
