On Sunday, March 9, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.
The game took place at Bill Davis Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Beacons this season.
The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium against Eastern Michigan Eagles.
