On Sunday, March 30, former Butler Area Senior High School standout Madden Clement’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park against Radford Highlanders.
