On Sunday, March 2, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, lost 12-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.

The game took place at Globe Life Field. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 3 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium against St. John’s Red Storm.
