On Saturday, March 1, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Brett Galcik’s current college team, the Slippery Rock The Rock, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shippensburg Raiders.

The game took place at Fairchild Field. This was their third matchup against the Raiders this season.

The The Rock’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Calvin L. Bailey Field against West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.
