On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Seneca Valley Senior High School standout Owen Yarussi’s current college team, the Old Dominion Monarchs, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their third matchup against the 49ers this season.
The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3:05 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
