On Saturday, March 8, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Bill Davis Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium against Valparaiso Beacons.
