On Friday, Feb. 14, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Sal Mineo’s current college team, the Ohio State Buckeyes, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The game took place at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sun Devils this season.

The Buckeyes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against Arizona State Sun Devils.
