On Saturday, March 8, former Freeport Area Senior High School standout Jackson Smetak’s current college team, the Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Charleston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Mountain Cats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3:30 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Charleston Golden Eagles.
