On Saturday, March 1, former Butler Area Senior High School standout Madden Clement’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Flashes this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
