On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Mars Area High School standout Teddy Ruffner’s current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Baylor Bears.
The game took place at Baylor Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.
The Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Crutcher Scott Field against Abilene Christian Wildcats.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
