On Tuesday, March 18, former Freeport Area Senior High School standout Jarrett Heilman’s current college team, the Wright State Raiders, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Toledo Rockets.
The game took place at Nischwitz Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Rockets this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Franklin Field against Milwaukee Panthers.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
