On Friday, Feb. 28, former Mars Area High School standout Shane Klinefelter’s current college team, the Gannon Golden Knights, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lake Erie Storm.
The game took place at Classic Park. This was their second matchup against the Storm this season.
The Golden Knights’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 9 a.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Davis & Elkins Senators.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
