On Friday, April 11, former Slippery Rock Area High School standout Brett Galcik’s current college team, the Slippery Rock The Rock, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
The game took place at Watkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Bald Eagles this season.
The The Rock’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. at Watkins Field against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
