On Friday, Feb. 28, former Freeport Area Senior High School standout Jarrett Heilman’s current college team, the Wright State Raiders, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Ole Miss Rebels.
The game took place at Swayze Field. This was their first matchup against the Rebels this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Swayze Field against Ole Miss Rebels.
Nearly $1.2 million in Local Share Account (LSA) grants have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support several community projects across Butler County, according to an announcement from Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler).
